1988 Proof Silver Eagle

Proof Silver Eagle coins are the frosted proof versions of the gem coins produced by the United States Mint. They are considered to be the most beautiful coins in the world and are widely collected.We carry every American Silver Eagle Proof to date. All American Silver Eagle Proof coins are complete with box & certificate of authenticity (COA) as issued by the U.S. Mint. The obverse design features an ever hopeful Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes carrying in her arms branches of laurel and oak to symbolize both civil and military glory. The reverse design, by United States Mint sculptor John Mercanti, features a striking heraldic eagle with shield, and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left.
